Different teas require different temperatures. Green teas prefer 175°F, while black teas need boiling water (212°F).
Steep green tea for 2-3 minutes, black tea for 3-5 minutes, and herbal infusions for 5-7 minutes.
Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz cup for most teas. For oolongs and whites, use 1.5 teaspoons as leaves expand.
